HP Envy 4520 | Review, Preview and Rear View.
The HP Envy all-in-one series has a new member, the 4520. With HP nearer than ever in curing the world of ink anxiety, Envy 4520 comes with the instant ink cartridge replacement system. The instant ink replacement system detects low ink, sends the information and a new cartridge is shipped to you. So you need not worry about running out of ink, ever. While you are installing the software driver into your PC or mobile (it does support mobiles), the system will ask you if you want to enroll in the program. Click yes and fill out the information and become a member. You can also enroll by visiting HP Instant Ink. BTW, if you do not find your country's name on the list, HP instant ink is sadly not available. The instant ink program is paid out in monthly packages by the page. Unused pages roll on to the next month.
So with the latest services in place, what does the new Envy 4520 has to offer?
As part of the All-In-One series, the Envy 4520 really does everything you would expect an All-In-One to do. Printing, Scanning, Mobile support, air printing and refilling cartridges. It is well suited for home and SMB based operations, i.e. for people who only turn to the printer occasionally. The design is slim, sleek and sits well with home decor. All this at an incredible price of less than $100. Having said that, it does 'envy' a memory card reader and Ethernet port which are very much available on comparative printers.
1. Low Budget (<$100)
2. Slim Design
3. Instant Ink
1. No Memory Card Reader
2. No Ethernet Port
Hope this helps...
