Before making an offer of employment, am employer cannot get any information about the
presence, nature, or seriousness of an inability. Candidates might be asked some information about
their capacity to perform the work. A job offer might be conditional on the consequences of a
medical examination, yet just if the examination is required for all entering candidates in a similar
job specified. Medical examinations of candidates must be employment related and related with
business need.
