difference between privacy policy and terms of service

Differences between two are -

  • A terms of service agreement is not required by the law unlike privacy policy agreement.

  • A Privacy Policy agreement is required in the event that you gather or utilize any personal data from your clients, e.g. emails, first and last names and so on. The object is to inform clients about your utilization of their personal information. A Terms and Conditions (T&C) agreement puts forward terms, conditions, prerequisites, and provisos identifying with the utilization of your site or portable/desktop application, e.g. copyright security, accounts end in instances of misuse, etc.
