Probable cause to suspect shoplifting

Simple doubt ordinarily won't suffice. Most states require that the store or its workers have confirm which would lead a sensible individual to trust that shoplifting had happened or was in progress. On the off chance that the store bases its detainment of a presumed shoplifter on data from a non-worker source, that witness must have a sensible reason for suspecting shoplifting.
