What can be done in this case: I try transferring content using the Smart Switch Mobile app through a USB cable but the sending device is recognized as the receiving device? Please help.

First, you would have to check the following if your sending device is recognized as the receiving device (in Smart Switch Mobile App)

  1. Make sure that the USB connector that you are using is connected to your new Galaxy device.


  1. Do the following if you are using a USB cable without a USB connector: 1) find an option for sending content by dragging down the status bar found at the top of the device screen. Then change the USB option to Transferring media files.
