As per Rehabilitation Act of 1973 the obligations of employers with federal contracts or
subcontracts that exceed $10,000 or any contracts or subcontracts where the purchaser has reason to
believe that the cost in any 1 years will not exceed $10,000 are as follows:
(a) To take steps to hire, retain, and promote qualified individuals with disabilities.
(b) To refrain from discrimination in employment against qualified individual with disabilities.
