Importing contacts and other data from Blackberry to Samsung Galaxy:
You would need BlackBerry Desktop Software installed on computer, BlackBerry and the Samsung phone to start with this process. Connect the phones to the computer via a USB cable for transferring..
Now, read on to do the transfer:
Use the microUSB cable and connect your BlackBerry to a PC or Mac.
Open the BlackBerry Desktop Software in your computer. It would take sometime for the phone to be recognized by the app.
Now, click on Organizer which is located on the left-hand panel. Then check the Contacts box.
Then go for one way to your computer only when you have to choose the sync direction.
Then highlight Windows contacts under Contacts account heading and then press OK.
To begin the transfer find the Sync Organizer option found in the bottom right-hand corner of the BlackBerry software. This copies your contacts to your Windows address book.
After this you would have to export these contacts by finding Contacts on the Start menu > then open it and find Windows address book.
Start selecting all your contacts by pressing Ctrl+A.
Then in the Menu bar click on Export > choose CSV file type > click on Export.
Then save the file in any particular location by clicking on Browse and the location.
Now, open theGoogle contacts pageon your computer and sign in using the same Google account that you signed in on the Galaxy.
Then go to the Google address book by clicking on More button (found on upper left area) > then click Import from the drop-down menu.
Then the window opens and you have to click Choose File > locate .csv file that you downloaded already.
After the contacts have been imported Google syncs them to your new phone.
