Illegality to possess 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)

3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) is Schedule 1 on the California Uniform
Controlled Substances Act. MDMA is considered illicit for ownership under Health and Safety Code
11377. MDMA is unlawful for ownership available to be purchased under Health and Safety Code
11378. By and by those without earlier criminal histories indicted HS 11377 will be allowed PC1000,
Prop 36, or lawful offense probation. Those sentenced HS 11378, ownership of MDMA available to be
purchased, may get anything from probation up to 4 years in jail.
