I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and I want to transfer all my stuff from my old Android phone to the latest phone. Can anyone tell me what all I would be able to transfer?

Transferring things from one Android phone to another:

  1. Contacts

  2. Calendar (content available in device only)

  3. Messages

  4. Photos

  5. Music and videos (only content that are DRM free and this does not support iCloud)

  6. Call logs

  7. Memos

  8. Alarms

  9. Wi-Fi settings

  10. Wallpapers

  11. Documents

  12. App data (if you previously had Galaxy devices only and it should be M OS)

  13. Home layouts (if you previously had Galaxy devices only and it should be M OS)

Use the Smart Switch to scan and transfer content that are stored on the device as well as the SD card. Sometimes you would have to re-download the apps to have an exact Android replacement on your new phone. If any particular app is not available in your new Galaxy, Smart Switch Mobile comes with an app matching and recommendation tool to find your favorite apps or similar replacements for them.
