To disconnect an incoming call in a landline phone, you can do one of these:
1. Pick the phone receiver and press the switch hook for a few seconds. The call gets disconnected automatically.
2. Turn off the ringer and wait for a few minutes. Usually, ringer volume control will be found at the bottom of the phone.
3. Disconnect the phone cable from its socket. After a few minutes, you can reconnect.
