Google Pixel XL 128GB price dropped by $220
The prices of current Google Pixel models have dropped drastically. The Google Pixel XL (5.5-inch screen) version now costs $649.99 for the 128GB model. This is $220 less than the recommended retail price of $869.99.
Similarly, the 5-inch screen Google Pixel now costs $609.99, down by $140 when compared with the earlier price. Both phones have received price cuts only for Quite Black color and available in factory unlocked state.
Newegg had listed the phones with discount of up to 35%. For serious buyers there isn't much time left. The offer is valid until Wednesday, 21st September only.
To recap, Google Pixel and Pixel are first smartphones launched by the search engine giant last year. Both phones were known for its great camera capabilities and unlimited cloud storage.
Currently the phones run on Android Nougat but will get Android Oreo in the coming months. The phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processors and 4GB RAM. To sum up, if you always wanted the Google Pixel but put off the decision due to the premium price, this is a good chance.
The upcoming Pixel 2, to be launched on October 4th, 2017, is expected to have enhanced Google Assistant features, higher screen-to-body ratio, like in LG G6, AR capabilities, improved camera (dual lens?) and Android Oreo out of the box.
