Hi... First off, I definitely can’t imagine a USB type-C cable to transfer a whopping current of 12 Amp. Why would a smartphone or tablet need such a ginormous power to charge their small batteries?

Furthermore, this universal charger is capable of producing different output as well. That is, 5V - 3A and 12 v - 3 A. The former one is the suitable figure for many smartphones. That said, you can definitely use the Google Pixel C’s charger with any smartphone.
