When you are going for a Samsung Galaxy phone from an iPhone then you would have to know how to transfer content from one phone to another. For this particular purpose Samsung has come up with an app called the the Samsung Smart Switch app that helps you transfer data from one device to a Galaxy Smartphone.

  1. Start by downloading the

    Samsung Smart Switch Mobile
app from Play Store on your new Galaxy smartphone.

  1. Then launch the app and select iCloud option from the list. (What actually happens is that the app uses your iCloud device backup and then transfers your information to your Galaxy phone.

  2. For this you would have to enter your Apple credentials and then proceed for the transfer.

  3. Samsung would verify your account and give you a list of recent backups for your iOS devices.

  4. Choose the backup that you want to restore to your Galaxy device.

  5. This backup would take sometime based on the connection speed and size of the backup.

  6. Once the backup is done the app would alert you that it is finished.
