No, the white collar criminal are not treated differently as compared to the offender of other crime. It
may look like the defendants of white collar crime have preferential treatment as the court's concern
regarding release of defendants before trial or where to send the defendants to serve a jail sentence are
different as such defendants are not charged with a violent crime.
